So Yin’s legal practice has been focused on business law.

She advises local and foreign clients in buying and selling businesses, real estate, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, corporate reorganizations, licensing and regulatory issues, and on commercial contracts such as distributions and supply contracts.

She acts for corporations as well as institutional lenders and financiers in financing and leasing transactions including project financing, real estate mortgages, syndicated credit facilities, secured debts and convertible instruments and personal property security matters.

So Yin’s clients are from diverse industries, including hospitality, technology, food distribution, professional services, manufacturing, restaurants, retail, medical professionals, training institutions, real estate investments, developments, biotechnology and financial institutions. 

Aside from institutional and corporate organizations, So Yin regularly assists individuals with their personal advance care and estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney and care planning documents, as well as applications for grants of probate and administration.

So Yin’s goal is to journey WITH her clients and counsel and help them navigate legal issues in a friendly, efficient and effective way.
