Our Story
For over 20 years, So Yin's legal practice has been focused on business law.
So Yin advises local and foreign clients in buying and selling businesses, real estate, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, corporate reorganizations, licensing and regulatory issues, and on commercial contracts such as distributions and supply contracts.
She acts for corporations as well as institutional lenders and financiers in financing and leasing transactions including project financing, real estate mortgages, syndicated credit facilities, secured debts and convertible instruments and personal property security matters.
So Yin's clients are from diverse industries, including hospitality, technology, food distribution, professional services, manufacturing, restaurants, retail, medical professionals, training institutions, real estate investments, developments, biotechnology and financial institutions.
Aside from institutional/corporate clients, So Yin regularly assists individuals with their personal advance care and estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney and care planning documents, as well as applications for grants of probate and administration.
In her practice, So Yin has been engaged by many clients who strive to lay hold of business opportunities, overcome business and personal challenges and fulfill their visions and pursuits. So Yin's goal is to journey WITH her clients and counsel and help them navigate legal issues in a friendly, efficient and effective way.
Outside of the office, So Yin enjoys exploring the outdoors and hiking, canoeing, and walking with friends and family. She finds gardening, reading and music refreshing and inspiring.

Kit is excited to be on the WITH Legal team. Much of Kit’s career has been dedicated to client service and support, with half of that time working within the legal industry.
Kit has assisted many clients in navigating issues in business law, real estate conveyancing and wills and Estates. She believes that all clients and all situations are unique. Kit has studied and lived in different countries and she believes that her diverse experience enables her to approach challenges with different perspectives, always empathetic of the situation and the impact it has on the individual.
Kit is always seeking to develop and improve her skills, knowledge and experience. With a keen eye for details and a drive to attain results and a successful outcome for clients, Kit believes that open and timely communication is vital for success.
Outside of the office, Kit enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the great outdoors. They enjoy camping, hiking, snowboarding, and venturing off the beaten path.
